Solid-cast pigs have the flexibility and easy handling of foam pigs, and the ruggedness and excellent sealing capabilities of cups and discs found on mandrel pigs make them as very efficient as general purpose pigs.

• Batching,
• Remove/clean sediment, and condensate from the wet gas pipeline,
• Control paraffin build-up in the crude oil system, and
• With the addition of brushes, also can be used for cleaning
  applications.
